Hold Fast Tattoo started as a small private studio in 2024. In early 2025, the shop underwent renovations and expansion, and is now a full two story shop with private rooms, clean restrooms, and comfortable waiting spaces.

The shop is owned and operated by local tattoo artists specializing in a large range of styles from American tradition to fine line and black and gray. We take pride in client comfort, clean spaces and professional attitudes. We understand tattooing as a whole can be an intimidating process, and the ease and comfort our shop provides will help with any anxious first timer, or seasoned tattoo collector. The shop is constantly changing, and being improved.

Bryant has been tattooing in Connecticut exclusively since 2016. Almost 10 years later, Hold Fast Tattoo opened. Bryant specializes in American Traditional inspired tattooing, with an emphasis on bold lines, solid shading and color, and classic designs. Although his portfolio strongly showcases his traditional style, he is capable of many other styles of tattoo work.

When it comes to tattoos, Bryant prides himself on knowledge and history. His approach is reasonable and straightforward, educating clients along the way. He understands part of his job is to help the client make smart decisions, decisions with the future and life of your tattoo in mind.
